1. The test case enables radio bearer test mode in the mobile to decouple the RLC layer and test data transfer directly. Transparent mode RLC is used to simulate acknowledged mode so RLC headers can be set and read. 2. Downlink and uplink RLC PDUs are exchanged with sequence numbers incrementing. The SS polls every 64 PDUs and acknowledges all received PDUs on poll. 3. Sequence numbers wrap around and continue incrementing to test acknowledged mode sequence numbering.
