The phase 2 trial evaluated the efficacy and safety of spesolimab, an anti–interleukin-36 receptor monoclonal antibody, in treating generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP). Results showed that 54% of patients receiving spesolimab achieved complete pustule clearance at week 1 compared to 6% in the placebo group, though the treatment was associated with infections and systemic reactions.
