What is KCSMA Canstruction Event 2022 about?

This event combines a canned food drive with engineering and bridge building. Students will collect specific canned goods by label and color to build two bridge designs and a banner out of cans to raise awareness about hunger. The goal is for each class to collect 80 cans. Families are invited to attend the Canstruction event where teams will have one hour to build the bridges and banner out of cans, which will then be donated to a local charity that provides food to families.
