What is Bagheri JAST about?

This study assessed the impact of live yeast and mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) on the performance of early-lactation Holstein dairy cows. Results indicated that while live yeast supplementation improved nutrient digestibility and numerically increased milk yields, MOS alone or in combination with yeast did not enhance cow performance significantly. Overall, the findings suggest that MOS produced inconsistent effects on rumen metabolism and performance in dairy cows.
