What is Role of NANDTB in EN 4179 Compliance about?
National Aerospace NDT Boards (NANDTB) were formed in many countries due to EASA regulation part 145 which mandates the implementation of EN 4179. EN 4179 describes the role of NANDTBs in providing NDT qualification and examination services. To promote harmonization between NANDTBs, a Forum for NANDTB was established under the European Federation for NDT. The inaugural Forum meeting was attended by over 40 representatives and discussed objectives and procedures. This paper will discuss the Forum
