Supercontinuum Generation at 1.55 µm by tata.nguyenvanthang is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This paper discusses the design and theoretical calculation of a highly nonlinear germanium-doped photonic crystal fiber aimed at generating supercontinuum light at 1.55 µm for telecommunications and medical applications. The study demonstrates that by doping the fiber with 3% germanium, a significant increase in the nonlinear coefficient allows for a broad spectral bandwidth of 120 nm for a 2.5 ps pulse and 190 nm for a 1.0 ps pulse, achieving improved resolution in optical coherence tomography.
