What is Gandhi about?
Gandhi came from a poor family in India and studied law in London from 1888-1891. He attended University College London and studied law and jurisprudence with the intention of becoming a barrister. While in London, he joined the London Vegetarian Society and was elected to its executive committee. He advocated for allowing a fellow committee member to remain despite disagreeing with his views, showing an early inclination towards challenging authority.
