This study isolated and screened 40 phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) from paddy rhizosphere soils in Raichur and Koppal districts, focusing on their solubilization efficiency on Pikovskaya’s medium. Among the isolates, PPSB-21 demonstrated the highest phosphate solubilization efficiency of 253.84% and a solubilization index of 3.53. The findings suggest that these efficient PSB isolates could be utilized as biofertilizers to enhance phosphorus availability for plants.
