This randomized controlled trial evaluated the efficacy of a dichoptic digital therapeutic for treating amblyopia in children ages 4 to 7. 105 children with amblyopia were randomized to either use the therapeutic for one hour per day plus glasses, or to wear glasses alone. At 12 weeks, visual acuity improved significantly more in the therapeutic group compared to the glasses alone group, supporting the value of the therapeutic for treating amblyopia. No serious adverse events were reported.
