David Harris shared the actual dimensions of the Fajardo/Armstrong wedge used in some flute heads. The wedge is made from a single piece of aluminum shaped like a solid cylinder with grooves for O-rings. It extends 3.93 inches into the cylindrical bore of the head, tapering from 0.185 inches at the base to 0.036 inches at the end. The bore itself has a diameter of 0.748 inches and does not taper like traditional heads.
