Can I read Measurement of K shell fluorescence yields of some elements in the atomic range 22⩽Z⩽30 using photoionisation on EtoBox?

Measurement of K shell fluorescence yields of some elements in the atomic range 22⩽Z⩽30 using photoionisation by Önder Şimşek; Oğuz Doğan; Ümit Turgut; Mehmet Ertuğrul is a Materials Science article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Measurement of K shell fluorescence yields of some elements in the atomic range 22⩽Z⩽30 using photoionisation about?

K shell ̄uorescence yields were measured for nine elements Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and Zn using a Ge(Li) detector. A new method was developed for the accurate measurement of K shell ̄uorescence yields. This method involves measurement of K shell ̄uorescence yields in terms of the photon scattering cross section in carbon. For this reason, carbon was used as a scattering target. The targets were excited using 59.5 keV gamma rays from an Am-241 radioactive source of strength 100 mCi. The results of the present work are compared with earlier experimental results obtained by other methods, theoretical predictions and semiemprical ®ts reported in the literature.

Who reads Measurement of K shell fluorescence yields of some elements in the atomic range 22⩽Z⩽30 using photoionisation?

It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Materials Science.
