Sundanese script was used between the 15th-17th centuries CE and was derived from Pallava script of India. It was used to write Sanskrit and early Sundanese languages. 3. Arabic script was used from the 16th century CE with the spread of Islam. Latin script became more common in the 19th-20th centuries due to Dutch influence through education.
