What is Aviation Dangerous Goods Regulations about?
Air India does not allow dangerous goods or restricted items on flights for safety reasons. Exceptions are made for small medical oxygen or carbon dioxide cylinders, dry ice up to 2kg per passenger, and alcoholic beverages up to 5 liters. Banned items include explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizing materials, poisons, radioactive materials, corrosives, and other dangerous articles.
