This study evaluates the necessity of routine sonological, urodynamic, and cystourethroscopic evaluations in patients with simple hypospadias. Out of 65 patients, 18.46% showed urinary tract anomalies, with significant findings from ultrasound and urodynamic studies, including detrusor overactivity in 46% of patients. The results suggest that preoperative evaluations can detect asymptomatic abnormalities that may require treatment during hypospadias repair.
