Peter Gilchrist lives in Farnham, Hampshire. Qualified as a mechanical engineer, he has had a wide ranging career as a defence journalist. He was until fairly recently Editor of Armed Forces magazine. Peter Gilchrist is the author of a number of books, including the acclaimed Sea Power volume in the Osprey Desert Storm trilogy.
