The study evaluates the psychometric properties of the Parent and Teacher ADHD Rating Scale (ADHD-RS) using the partial credit Rasch model on a sample of 566 Danish children aged 6 to 16. Results indicate that while the ADHD-RS demonstrates unidimensionality across subscales, there is evidence of differential item functioning based on gender and age, suggesting that parents and teachers may have different perspectives when rating symptoms.
