This case report describes a 54-year-old asthmatic man who presented with tinea corporis and tinea cruris caused by Trichophyton mentagrophytes type granular. Diagnosis was confirmed through clinical examination showing erythematous plaques and papules, direct microscopic examination of skin scrapings revealing fungal hyphae, and culture growth of white-creamy colonies of T. mentagrophytes.
