Enoxaparin sodium ## Haemorrhagic shock secondary to thrombocytopenia: 2 case reports In a retrospective analysis study involving 1108 patients who were admitted with COVID-19 in a hospital in Mexico from 23 March 2020 to 20 June 2020, a 77-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man were described, who developed haemorrhagic stroke secondary to thrombocytopenia during treatment with enoxaparin sodium [routes not stated; not all dosage stated; time to reactions onsets not clearly stated]. A 77-year-old woman (Case 1 from the article) presented with tachypnoea and respiratory distress. Five days later, she was hospitalised with desaturation and severe pneumonia due to suspected SARS-CoV-2 infection. Her medical history was significant for type 2 diabetes melitus and hypertension.
