What is Data Processing Techniques Overview about?

The General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) is a treaty of the World Trade Organization (WTO) that entered into force in 1995 as a result of the Uruguay Round negotiations. GATS was created to extend the multilateral trading system to the service sector, similar to how GATT provides such a system for merchandise trade. All WTO members must adhere to GATS. The basic WTO principle of most favored nation status applies to GATS as well, with some temporary exemptions possible upon accession.
