What is Three-Axis Wind Tunnel Force Balance about?

This thesis presents the design of a three-axis force balance for a small low-speed wind tunnel capable of measuring lift, drag and pitching moment of small models. The design uses three load cells and an Arduino data acquisition system to measure the three forces affordably and accessibly for student experiments. The electronics have been tested and the structural design is documented ready for construction.
