Can I read Pentaphosphine-complexes of cobalt(II) and hydridopentaphosphine-complexes of cobalt(III) with secondary phosphines on EtoBox?
Pentaphosphine-complexes of cobalt(II) and hydridopentaphosphine-complexes of cobalt(III) with secondary phosphines by P. Rigo; M. Bressan is a Chemistry article available to read on EtoBox.
What is Pentaphosphine-complexes of cobalt(II) and hydridopentaphosphine-complexes of cobalt(III) with secondary phosphines about?
## Z4e secondary phosphines HP(C2H&, HP(CH, )ph and HP(C2H5)Ph react with Co(BF4),*6H20 to yieM cationic pentaphosphine derivatives, which have been obtained in the solid state in two forms of different color. The red (Co(HPR,)J(BF& are truly fivecoordinate (low-spin) complexes. whereas the green fCo(HPR,)J=+ moieties, which have C,, symmeny, are probably weakly coordinated in the skth position with a water molecule or a tetrafluoroborate ion. In common organic solvents the green foms convert immediately into the red. Some chemical properties of the [Co(HPR,)#' cations have been investiqated and the preparation of a few hydrkioder&atives of cobalt(III) of the type [COH(HPR,)~](BF,) , is reported.
