Phosphate Ore Beneficiation Methods by miningnova is a document available to read on EtoBox.
Mondoon phosphate deposit is located in Kohkiloye-Boyer Ahmad province, south-west of Iran. Microscopic studies and XRD results show that the ore mainly consists of: francolite (Carbonate Flour-apatite), quartz, calcite and hematite. This assemblage is hosted by a biomicritic limestone. Carbonate Flour-apatite consists of honey-yellow microcrystalline to cryptocrystalline phosphate grains which change to light to dark brown depending on the iron hydroxide (goethite) and hematite content.
