What is Geopolitics and Trade: TTIP, TPP Impact about?

The document discusses the decline of the multilateral trading system, primarily due to the resurgence of geopolitics and the emergence of preferential trade agreements like TTIP and TPP, which exclude major emerging economies. It argues that these agreements weaken the WTO and betray foundational principles of global trade, leading to a fragmented economic order. The author emphasizes the need for cooperation rather than isolation, particularly concerning BRICS nations, to avoid competing trade blocs.
