This paper presents a new modeling method for simulating the heating process of superalloy billets in resistance furnaces using the CFD software FLUENT. The model incorporates numerical analysis of natural convection, thermal radiation, and heat conduction to predict temperature distribution and equilibration time effectively. Validation through experimental temperature measurements indicates that the model is accurate for predicting the thermal behavior of superalloys during heating.
