About this document

Eustachian Tube Measurements in COM by reza avina azzahra is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study evaluates Eustachian tube (ET) measurements using High Resolution Computed Tomography (HRCT) in patients with chronic otitis media (COM) with and without cholesteatoma, compared to normal ears. The findings indicate that reduced ET angle, increased tubotympanic angle, and decreased pretympanic diameter may predispose individuals to the development of COM and cholesteatoma. A total of 79 patients were analyzed, revealing significant differences in ET measurements across the three groups.
