What is Heteronucleare clustersysteme : XIX. Structuruntersuchungen an tetraedrischen carbonylcobalt-clustern; ein beitrag zur frage der bildung von carbonylbrücken about?
The tetrahedral carbonylcobalt ch&ers (CO)&O,CC~H,(CH,)~ (II), (CO),-P(CH,),Co&'o(CO), (HI) and (CO),CP(CH,),C,H,I,Co,FetH)(CO),P(CH,)2-C&H, (IV) were synthesized, and investigated by single-crystal X-my diffraction methods together with the known compound (CO),Co,CCl (I). The results of the structure determinations show that the mesi~l-substituted methylidynecluster II can be arranged structurally between the non-bridged cluster I and the two CO-bridged clusters III and IV. The o-C%& substituents of the me&y1 group act as pseudo ligands of the apical carbon atom and push the neighbouring CO hgands into the Co,-plane: one condition for the formation of bridges as they exist in the compounds III and IV. Die tetraediscben Carbonylcobalt-Cl (CO)&o,CC6H2(CH3), (II), (CO),-P(CH3W03Co(CO), (BI) und (CO),EP(CH,),C,H,l,Co,FetH)(COz)P(CH,)2-C,H, (IV) wurden dargestellt und zusammen mit der bekarmten Verbindung (CO),Co,CCl (I) durch Einkristall-RGntgenbeugungsmethoden untersucht. Die Ergebnisse der Strukturbestimmungen zeigen,
