A hit-and-run accident occurred at the entrance to East High School in Denver on February 27, 2013 at 7:07 am. A juvenile pedestrian was struck by a gray sedan while crossing the street in a crosswalk. The vehicle failed to stop at a red light and fled the scene eastbound on Colfax Avenue. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
