What is LC Valiants Win First Championship Game about?

The LC Valiants basketball team from Lourdes College won their first ever championship at the South District Meet in September 2019. Led by captain Tom Ocampo, the Valiants defeated the Corpus Christi Knights in a close game. This victory qualified them for the Division Level championship. At the Division Level, the Valiants again made it to the finals but lost to a more experienced team. While disappointed, coach Rods and the players saw this as motivation to improve and win the championship next year.
