What is Frantz Fanon: Colonialism and Identity about?

Frantz Fanon, born in 1925 in Martinique, was a revolutionary and psychiatrist who studied colonialism and its impact on race and identity. He argued that colonialism perpetuates mental enslavement and cultural inferiority, leading to a dependent post-colonial ruling elite. Fanon advocated for cultural reawakening and the creation of a dynamic culture that informs the future rather than simply returning to pre-colonial practices.
