What is Save Ecuador about?

The Ecuadorian Choco rainforest, a highly biodiverse area, is under threat from logging and a palm oil company, Energy Palm, which is attempting to destroy the remaining land. The local Afro-Ecuadorian community of Baranquilla de San Javier is fighting back legally but needs financial support for an environmental study to strengthen their case. Donations are being sought to help this community defend their land and resist corporate exploitation.
