What is AISI 431 Stainless Steel Properties about?
EN 10088-3 – 1.4057 is a hardenable stainless steel containing 16% chromium and 2% nickel. It has good corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and strong oxidizing acids. It has high tensile strength and hardness when hardened and tempered. Typical applications include shafting, piston rods, spindles, pump parts, and valve parts.
