Hanson Sand Cement Mortar is a pre-blended mortar made of cement, ground granulated blast furnace slag, sand, and air entrainment additives. It meets the requirements for a category M5 mortar and is CE marked. It can be used for brick and block laying, pointing, patching, rendering, and general repairs. When mixed with water, its compressive strength is typically 5-10 N/mm2 after 28 days of curing. The mortar should be used within 30 minutes of mixing and protected from weather until fully hardened.
