Jenny Verma conducted an investigatory chemistry project to determine the contents of different brands of cold drinks. She tested samples of Coca Cola, Sprite, Limca and Fanta and found that they all contained glucose, alcohol, sucrose, phosphate ions and carbon dioxide. The drinks were acidic due to citric acid and phosphoric acid. Coca Cola had the lowest pH, making it the most acidic. Sprite contained the most carbon dioxide while Fanta contained the least.
