This study isolated 71 phosphate-solubilizing bacteria from dipterocarp seedlings in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, and assessed their potential for biorehabilitation of degraded peatlands. The bacteria demonstrated varying capacities to solubilize inorganic and mineralize organic phosphate, with specific strains identified as the most efficient. The research aims to utilize these bacteria to enhance plant growth in reforestation efforts in nutrient-deficient tropical soils.
