This study characterized vesicular skin rashes in 24 COVID-19 patients. Two clinical patterns were identified: a diffuse pattern in 18 patients and a localized pattern in 6 patients. Histological examination showed intraepidermal vesicles consistent with viral infection. SARS-CoV-2 was not detected in vesicle fluid from 4 patients, suggesting low infectivity through vesicles.
