How Is The 4BCO2 Different From CDRA by Atul S Vivek is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The Four-Bed Carbon Dioxide Scrubber (4BCO2) is an advanced version of the Carbon Dioxide Removal Assembly (CDRA) with improved bed geometry, dust management, and reliability features. It utilizes cylindrical zeolite beds and enhanced filters to reduce dust-related issues, while also incorporating redesigned valves and a magnetic bearing blower for better maintenance. Currently in flight demonstration, 4BCO2 aims to replace CDRA for future extended missions on the ISS.
