This study presents a green-emitting quantum dot (QD) with a core/shell structure of Cd0.194Zn0.806Se0.406S0.594/ZnS, achieving a photoluminescence quantum yield of 99.8% and a fast radiative transition rate. The QD exhibits suppressed Auger recombination, resulting in a long biexciton decay lifetime and high external quantum efficiency of 20.1% in light-emitting diodes, making it a promising material for QLED applications.
