What is Exposing Genocide in Weliveriya about?

A Major General questions whether Brigadier Deshapriya Gunawardena received only non-lethal training, as the military is trained to disperse unarmed civilians without lethal force. The Brigadier led an operation at Weliveriya that used lethal weapons on innocent civilians in violation of Sri Lankan and international law. The Major General argues this constitutes genocide and that the Brigadier and Army commander are accountable for their actions.
