What is Electrocatalytic Production of Tunable Syngas from CO2 via a Metal-Free Porous Nitrogen-Doped Carbon about?
## Comparison sample The purchased commercial Carbon Black (Vulcan XC-72R) was treated with acetone to prepare the Carbon catalyst. ## Structural characterization Transmission electron microscope (TEM) (FEI TECNAI G2 TF20, America) was used to characterize the morphology of the catalyst. X-ray power diffraction (XRD) measurement was achieved on a Rigaku 92 D/Max-2400 diffractometer (Japan) employing Cu K α radiation at 40 kV and 150 mA. X-ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS) (Thi-5702, America) was used to analyze the presence of elements on the surface of the catalyst, and Al K α (hν = 29.35 eV) was used as the light source. Raman spectrometer (Bruker RFS 100/S, Germany) was used to characterize the defect structure of carbon materials.
