About this document
Understanding Futur Simple in French by Alan Joseph is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The futur simple in French is used to talk about actions that will occur in the future. It is formed in two sections: 1) the infinitive form of the verb and 2) future endings. For regular verbs, the infinitive is unchanged and standard future endings are added. Irregular verbs may have a stem change in the infinitive but keep the regular endings. A few examples are provided to demonstrate conjugating regular and irregular verbs in the futur simple.
