About this document
CFD Analysis of Vertical Gas-Liquid Separator by Tanweer Hussain is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study uses computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling to analyze the separation performance of a compact vertical gas-liquid separator design with an inlet cyclone and perforated baffle plate internal configuration. Simulations were conducted for four inlet liquid volume fractions (0.1, 0.2, 0.15, and 0.3) at an inlet velocity of 0.75 m/s. The CFD results showed that separation efficiency decreased with increasing inlet liquid volume fraction, with the highest efficiency of 99.9% obtained between liqu
