Shibori is a Japanese textile dyeing technique where fabric is folded, gathered, stitched or clamped to create patterns. Common shibori folds include big fold, mandala, star fold, and rainbow fold. Sekka shibori uses the same folding methods as traditional shibori to create dyed patterns.
