What is 268 ARE ENDOGENOUS OPIOIDS INVOLVED IN NSAIDS TOLERANCE? about?
Poster Sessions / European Journal of Pain 13 (2009) S55-S285 value 1.94 ± 0.74 mg/kg indicating a synergistic interaction. The derived theoretical additive ED 50 value for the gabapentinmetamizole combination (14.22 ± 9.55 mg/kg) was not significantly greater than the observed ED 50 (12.67 ± 5.26 mg/kg), which corresponds to an additive interaction. The derived theoretical additive ED 50 value for the gabapentin-paracetamol combination was 59.95 ± 16.77 mg/kg, while the experimental value of this combination was 127.61±56.98 mg/kg. These data indicate a subadditivity between the gabapentin and paracetamol. Conclusions: Data suggest that low doses of the diclofenacgabapentin combination can interact synergistically and therefore this drug association may represent a therapeutic advantage for the clinical treatment of ipain.
