As a cyclone approached, Uncle Henry went to protect the livestock while Aunt Em told Dorothy to take Toto and hurry to the storm cellar. However, the cyclone picked up their house and carried it far away, with Dorothy and Toto inside. Though frightened at first, Dorothy remained calm and eventually fell asleep as the house continued to be tossed by the powerful winds.
