Capt. Dieter Harms has over 47 years of experience in the aviation industry. He began his career with Lufthansa German Airlines and retired as a captain in 2005. Harms has held several leadership roles within Lufthansa related to pilot training. He has been involved with the development and implementation of competency-based training and the Multi-Crew Pilot License since the beginning. Currently, Harms works as a senior advisor for IATA and serves on the EASA MPL Advisory Board.
