This research article investigates the antibiofilm activity of berberine and capsaicin in combination with quinolone antibiotics against Staphylococcus aureus from bovine mastitis. The study finds that these plant molecules enhance the effectiveness of quinolones, increasing the zone of inhibition and demonstrating significant antibiofilm properties. The results suggest that combining phytoconstituents with antibiotics could help combat antimicrobial resistance in bacterial infections.
