Abstract: The study addresses the challenges of Education 4.0, with especially to the aspects of adult education. In relation to Education 4.0, the appreciation of the importance of adult education does not appear as sharply as can be inferred from the challenges of Industry 4.0 and demographic data. The study examines this on the basis of demographic data, of the one part, and analyzes the forecasts and factors that determine the future labor market and, in this context, the directions of Education 4.
