This 220 square meter private residence in Vadodara, India was renovated by Manoj Patel Design Studio. Large openings on opposite sides of each space provide cross ventilation and natural light. Balconies connect different levels both visually and physically. The west facade features a unique patterned clay tile elevation that provides shade while transforming the solid wall into an organic form. Waste and recycled clay tiles were used cost effectively to create the distinctive facade.
