An 6-year-old boy presented with swelling of the eyelids, abdomen, hands, and feet for the past two weeks. He had a history of similar swelling one year prior. Physical exam found edema of the eyelids, abdomen, hands, and feet, as well as ascites. Initial labs showed hypoalbuminemia, proteinuria, and hypercholesterolemia.
